The sixth season of 'Only Murders in the Building' will move to London

Our favorite trio has a new adventure in sight: London!

The acclaimed whodunit comedy series Only Murders in the Buildingapparently will move to London for its sixth season.

According to reports from Deadline, true crime fans Charles, Oliver and Mabel (Steve Martin, Martin Short y Selena Gomez), appear to be en route to Europe for the next season, which, by the way, has not been formally renewed by Hulu, although that seems only a matter of time given the series' enormous popularity.

The finale of the fifth season will air tomorrow, October 28, and according to the source, the transatlantic move could be hinted at right there.

The comedy and mystery series is available on Hulu in the United States and on Disney Plus throughout Latin America.

Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffmanthe plot centers on Charles, Oliver and Mabel, three true crime fans, whose enthusiasm is tested in the first season, when a resident of the Arconia building located on the Upper West Side, where they live, ends up dead. With the motive and killer still unknown, they will have to work together to unravel the truth. The trio investigates a new murder each season with the help of their wits and their Only Murders podcast..

It is currently unknown if the murder in season six will take place in London.

The fifth season – which concludes tomorrow – revolves around the murder of Lester, Arconia's beloved doorman. The investigation so far has stumbled upon an illegal casino and ties to the mafia.

In addition to the main trio, the fifth season has the returns of Meryl Streep, Michael Cyril Creighton, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Jackie Hoffman, Richard Kind, Nathan Laney Tea Leoni.

The new faces include Bobby Cannavale (MaXXXine), Keegan-Michael Key (Friends from College), Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Basterds), Renée Zellweger (Judy, Bridget Jones), Logan Lerman (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart), Dianne Wiest (Practical Magic), y Jermaine Fowler (Judas and the Black Messiah).

Martin, Hoffman, Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal are executive producers. Disney Television Studios' 20th Television produces the series.
