Warner Bros. revealed the expected teaser trailer of The Bride!, a new version of the classic The Bride of Frankensteinin charge of Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Lost Daughter) as a screenwriter, director and producer.
This is Gyllenhaal's second feature film behind the lens.
Gyllenhaal addresses a cast headed by Jessie Buckley (Men, I’m Thinking of Ending Things) like the bride, Christian Bale (Ford v Ferrari, The Dark Knight) as Frankenstein monster, Penelope Cruz (Ferrari, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) As Myrna, Peter Sarsgaard (Memory, The Batman) as the detective, Annette Bening (Nyad) como la Dra. Euphronious, Julianne Hough (Safe Haven), y Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler) In roles of those who have not given more details.
The plot presents a lonely Frankenstein (Bale) traveling to the Chicago of the 30s to ask the pioneer scientist Dr. Euphronious (Bening) to believe a partner. Both revive a young woman killed and the bride is born (Buckley). What follows goes beyond what neither imagined.
The trailer of The bride! Start with Buckley falling down some stairs. “Was it the same before the accident?” He asks, while Frankenstein assures him: “There was no accident. Everything we did, we did on purpose. There is nothing left to do … except to live.”
Synopsis:
“A lonely Frankenstein travels to the Chicago of the 30s to seek the help of Dr. Euphronius to create a companion. The two revitalize a young woman murdered and the bride is born. She goes beyond what either of them intended, lighting a fuel romance, the attention of the police and a wild and radical social movement.”

Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Talia Kleinhendler, and Osnat Handelsman-Ken produce alongside Gyllenhaal. Carla Raij, David Webb and Courtney Kivowitz are executive producers.
Director James Whale's original film was released in 1935. In recent times, several plans to launch a remake of Bride of Frankenstein. We remember the bankrupt Dark Universe of Universal Pictures, in addition to Bride of A24 and Apple, with Scarlett Johansson, of which no more news has been had. On the other hand, Guillermo del Toro has the premiere of his Frankenstein With house in Netflix.
