toe «Loneliness Will Shine» – this Sunday I want to delight you with a little PostRock/MathRock. The Japanese band toe, which has been around since 2000, is a particularly pleasing representative of the genre for me. Their music is often purely instrumental, but sometimes also includes vocals, and impresses with harmonious song structures that are nevertheless always interesting. They have just released their latest album “Now I See The Light”, which is really good.

Slowwves «Anywhere Else» – this band with the (seemingly) unpronounceable name comes from Thailand (perhaps my first Thai band on the blog…?) and clearly counts Slowdive and their shoegaze sound among their influences. Great music.
