One of the most commented projects in Sunday 2025 is tragicomedy Twinlessof the screenwriter and director James Sweeneywhich is close to cinemas.
The dark queer comedy emerged as one of the most deliciously crazy and fun proposals. Lionsgate y Roadside Attractions acquired their distribution rights in the United States, with Sony Pictures as its distributor in the international market.
Dylan O’Brien (Maze Runner, Teen Wolf) Star in the film playing the afflicted Roman, who lost his twin brother Rocky (also played by O'Brien) in a strange accident. But Roman has a new potential brother, played by the screenwriter himself and director, Sweeney, a young and ingenious young man who could have something to do with Rocky's sudden death.
After its premiere in Sundace, some uploaded scenes became viral on social networks.
In addition to O'Brien and Sweeney, the cast includes Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), Aisling Franciosi (Speak No Evil), Tasha Smith (Empire), Chris Perfetti (Abbott Elementary), y François Arnaud (Yellowjackets).

“In Twinlesstwo young people know each other in a support group for twins and forge an unlikely friendship. Roman (Dylan O'Brien) and Dennis (James Sweeney) seek comfort and an identity without their twins and soon become inseparable outside the group. But when Roman knows Dennis's enthusiastic workmate, Marcie (Aisling Franciosi), it is revealed that not everything seems, since each one houses secrets that could unravel everything. ”
This is Sweey's second feature film behind the lens, after writing and directing Straight Up (2019).
Twinless It is produced by David Permut, James Sweeney, and Alex Astrachan. Dylan O'Brien is the executive producer together with Liz Destro, David Gendron, Ali Jazayeri, Miky Lee, and Kevin Sullivan.
