Paramount Pictures The marketing campaign for the horror thriller officially started Twistedthe most recent of the filmmaker Darren Lynn Bousmanknown for directing projects of the genre such as Saw II, Saw III, Saw IVy Spiral.
To make things even more interesting, the film stars Lauren LaVerathe final girl of the horror saga Terrifier. And LaVera awaits a chilling journeyprobably with less gore than Terrifierbut no less sadistic; the fear game in the style Saw seems to be present in this project as well.
In Twisteda crime leads to something much more dangerous than intended. The plot follows a con artist (LaVera) whose real estate scam turns into a nightmare when she is captured by a surgeon with a terrifying plan.
The premise places the film at the intersection of horror and suspense, pitting a protagonist experienced in deception against an antagonist defined by experience, control, and a threat that is explicitly described as “terrifying.”
They accompany you Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place Part II), Alicia Witt (Longlegs), Mia Healey (The Wilds), Gina Philips (Jeepers Creepers), Jacob Lukas Anderson, y Neal McDonough (Tulsa King).

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“Two millennials sell apartments in New York to buyers who don't know they are being scammed. The scam works like a charm until they run into an apartment owner with a dark secret.”
Bousman directs the script written by Jonathan Bernestein y James Greer (Unsane).
The film, previously titled The Monsterwas classified by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) with the Rated R by:
“Strong and gory violent content, blood, sexual assault, suicide, inappropriate language and some sexual material”.
The producers are Mark Burg, Lee Nelson, and David Tich, with executive producers Lukas Behnken, Tevaughn Campbell, Thomas Fanning, David Gendron, and Viviana Zarragoitia.
Twisted It will not have a theatrical release, but rather a direct-to-digital release. will be available to buy or rent on Digital starting February 6, 2026.
