How the Superliga playoffs work
According to the format of the competition, the quarter-finals and semi-finals are played in a best-of-three series. The champion is decided in a single game, in a match to be played at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera, in São Paulo, on May 3rd.

The teams that were not relegated nor qualified for the knockout stages were Brasília, ninth placed, and Barueri, tenth. The teams that will compete in Superliga B next season are Tijuca and bottom team Sorocaba.
