'Yellowjackets' will say goodbye with a fourth and final season

After three incredible seasons and great consideration, We are pleased to announce that we will carry the story of Yellowjackets to its twisted end in this fourth and final season.

We always knew there would come a time when history would tell us it wanted to end, and we believe that our job, our responsibility, is to listen.. Telling this emotional, wild and deeply human story has been a deeply meaningful experience and a true honor for us, and we are so grateful to the brilliant cast, crew and writers who have bravely accompanied us on the journey to bring it to life. Above all, we want to thank the fans who have accompanied us in every moment, mystery and food: the Hive is nothing without you!

We can't wait to share the final chapter with you and we hope you find it… delicious.

The third season debuted on Valentine's Day this year, breaking records for Paramount Plus as the most-watched episode premiere in the series' history. The season three finale broke the record, generating 3 million global viewers in seven days across both linear and streaming.

Yellowjackets es both one survival epic, psychological horror story, and coming-of-age dramawhich portrays the consequences that a group of former soccer players deal with, 25 years after surviving a chilling incident in their adolescence: a plane crash that falls deep into the remote wilderness of the northern United States.

The plot takes us between the past and the present, and goes episode by episode, delving into the history and consequences of the harsh winter experienced by the teenagers, in which they had to resort to cannibalistic horrors to survive, as well as the havoc it causes in the adult lives of the small group of survivors.

The third season brought with it the arrival of summer, and with that, the Yellowjackets face a fragile victory: the brutal winter that almost wiped them out is behind them, but distrust in the leadership and internal tension within the team jeopardize their chances of being rescued. In the present, long-buried secrets from his past begin to surface. As the women fight to keep their lives from falling apart, they must confront a chilling question: who are they really and what dark truths are they hiding from each other and from themselves?
