Today is the beginning of summer and the longest day and Fête de la Musique – it’s logical that there is a lot going on.

A day full of Fête de la Musique can possibly end here. There is a lot going on in Leipzig. And after a lot of music all over the city, there is another full night of it at Eli. Eli-Usuals and Residents meet Schwefelgelb on the first day of the summer festival. The two artists have become known for their EBM-heavy sound, which includes Belgian electronic music from the late 1980s as well as industrial techno and German new wave. It somehow stays fresh, but is still so niche and unique that it doesn't stray into the direction of “harder and faster must always be better”. Today, Eli is definitely an address to keep partying.
