Less than a month before it hits theaters around the world, Alien: Romulusthe latest installment of the horror and science fiction saga Alien from 20th Century Studios, reveals a new trailer that looks truly phenomenal.

Its about final trailer from the film by the director and co-writer Fede Alvarez (Don’t Breathe, Evil Dead), which reminds us of Ridley Scott's original 1979 installment and the sequel Aliens (1986) by James Cameron. Curiously, Romulus places its plot in the timeline between both films.

An important fact about this new film is that unlike the other installments that focused on adults in corporate, military and scientific roles, this ninth installment of the franchise will focus on a group of young people.

The cast is playing the children of the original members of the Nostromo ship.

Cailee Spaeny (Civil War, Priscilla, Mare of Easttown) stars Romulus bringing Rain Carradine to life, alongside Isabela Merced (Instant Family), Archie Renaux (Upgraded, The Other Zoey), David Johnson (Industry), Spike Fearn (Aftersun), y Aileen Wu.

You can find the preview at the end of this note.

The project is described as “an original independent feature film.” The plot is set between the timeline of Alien (1979) by Ridley Scott, and the sequel Aliens (1986) by James Cameron.
