Lionsgate presented the official trailer for its original horror film, Althoughfrom the director Cole McCarthywhich reveals to the audience the new child-eating monster that lends its title to the film starring Sam Claflin.

The trailer starts off by telling us a bit of the history of this fictional nightmare creature, who has existed in many cultures but always seems to have the same goal. He likes to seal up innocent children and eat them. Pretty simple, pretty creepy.

It all plays out with the being floating in the background, only to be shown in its horrific glory at the end. There's something particularly disturbing about the idea of ​​a being whose only mission is to steal good children and put them in a death bag.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

“In the dark horror film Bagman, a family finds themselves trapped in a nightmare as they are hunted by a mythical, malevolent creature. For centuries and across cultures, parents have warned their children about the legendary Bagman, who kidnaps innocent children and stuffs them into his vile, rotting bag, never to be seen again. Patrick McKee (Sam Claflin) narrowly escaped such an encounter as a child, leaving him with lasting scars throughout his adult life. Now, Patrick's childhood tormentor has returned, threatening the safety of his wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) and his son Jake (Caréll Rhoden).”

The rest of the cast is made up of Sharon D Clarke (Doctor Who), Steven Cree (A Discovery of Witches), William Hope (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Adelle Leonce (For Me Once), Peter McDonald (Dublin Murders), Henry Pettigrew (Guilt), y Will Davis like Bagman.

McCarthy (The Girl with All the Gifts) directs the script that he co-wrote with John Hume.

Marty Bowen, John Fischer, Wyck Godfrey and Isaac Klausner are the producers.
