Apple TV+ is underway the development of the miniseries Imperfect Womenbased on the 2021 novel by Araminta Hall.
The most recent novelties around the project confirm the signing of Kate Mara in role of which no details have been shared. Adds to those previously announced, Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale) y Kerry Washington (Scandal). Washington is one of the executive producers.
Imperfect Women It is an unconventional psychological thriller that examines a crime that destroys the friendship of decades of three women. It is described as a complicated mystery for the perspective that explores guilt and remuneration, love and betrayal, and the commitments that we make our lives alter irrevocably. As the investigation is unleashed, so does the truth about how even the closest relationships can change over time.
Mara is an actress nominated for Emmy, known by series as American Horror Story, House of Cards, Pose, A Teacherand more recently, Class of ’09. In Cinema has been part of projects such as Brokeback Mountain, We Are Marshall, Shooter, Happythankyoumoreplease, 127 Hours, The Martian, Captive, Megan Leavey. Soon we will see it in comedy Friendship From A24, and will celebrate at the SXSW Festival, the Thrillers premieres The Dutchman y The Astronaut.
Annie Weisman will adapt the novel for Apple TV+. Weisman has previously collaborated with the streamer as creator, screenwriter and executive producer of the acclaimed series Physical.
Other executive producers include Moss, Lindsey Mcmanus, Washington, Pilar Savone, and Hall. The series is a co -production between 20th Television and Apple Studios.
