The series stars Mark Ruffalo (Mickey 17, Spotlight) y Tom Pelphrey (Outer Range, Ozark).
The plot set in the workers' suburbs of Philadelphia, follows an FBI agent (Ruffalo), who leads a working group to end a series of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family father (Pelphrey).
“There has been a wave of purple raids”the trailer begins. “At least nine houses have been assaulted”. The head of Ruffalo assembles a team to deal with theft.

Ingelsby is the screenwriter and showrunner. He is also the executive producer with Jeremiah Zagar, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Mark Ruffalo, Mark Roybal, Paul Lee, David Crockett, Ron Schmidt. The producer is Claire Shanley.
Task It consists of 7 episodes. The first will premiere the September 7 in HBO Max. The episodes will be launched under a weekly premiere.
