Under this chilling premise, Netflix revealed the first official posters with a view to the complete characterization of Charlie Hunnam as the serial killer Ed Geinfor the third season of the Anthology series Monsterentitled Monster: The Ed Gein Story of the cookers Ryan Murphy e Ian Brennan.
The actor, known for the series Sons of Anarchybecomes the serial killer in promotional art, available at the end of the note.
Gein was a well -known murderer of the 1950s who not only dedicated himself to the killing, but also exhumed tombs to use human remains and skin in the manufacture of household items and clothing. It is said that His crimes inspired films such as Psychosisto the villain Leatherface of The Matanza de Texas y The silence of the innocents.
Some of Gein's nicknames are “the insane butcher,” “Plainfield's demon,” “Plainfield's executioner,” among others.

After the success of the audience and criticism, of Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer StoryNetflix gave green light to turn the series into an anthology of title Monster launching the development of two more seasons, being the first one, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Storyreleased in the streamer in September 2024, and next, the focused on Ed Gein.
Anthology aims “Telling the stories of other monstrous figures that have impacted society.”
After this third season starring Hunnam, it will be the turn of a fourth season that will address the story of Lizzie Bordenan accused (but acquitted) murderer of the nineteenth century, with Ella Beatty in main role.
