The beginning of the “Halloween month” has been consenting to the cinephiles of the horror genre.

The film stars Georgina Campbell (Barbarian), Like Jane Thorne, a Kansas police officer who follows the track of a murderer after her husband, a road patrolman, becomes one of her victims.
The trailer gives us a small sample without revealing the whole truth. The appearance of the murderer is quite elegant and there are also some religious connections. It is nice to see Campbell back in gender cinema, after a good intervention in the main role in Barbarian.
The main cast is made up of Campbell, James Preston Rogers (The Blackening, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F), Grace Dove (The Revenant), Logan Miller (Escape Room), y Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Halloween).
Official synopsis:
“After the brutal murder of her husband, an agent of the Kansas road patrol (Campbell) undertakes a trip to find the culprit. As the search progresses, she realizes that the person in charge (James Preston Rogers) is a sadistic serial murderer, and that the depth of her mental depravation and her accidents are more twisted than anyone could have imagined.”
Gavin Polone direct the script was written by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, 8MM, The Killer). This is Polone's debut as director. Is a producer known for Zombieland y Panic Room.
The producers are Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, Matt Berenson, and Robert Kulzer. The executive producers are Andrew Kevin Walker and Katherine Landsberg.
20th Century Studios promotes the film as “from the producers of Barbarian, and a Weapons producer.”
Psycho Killer will premiere in cinemas on February 20, 2026that is a week before the premiere of Scream 7which means that we will have two consecutive weekends with horror movie releases.
The month of February is painted red for different reasons.
