HBO shared the first official trailer of I Love LAthe new comedy series created, written, starring and executive produced by Rachel Sennott., presenting a raw and humorous look at friendship, ambition and heartbreak in the city of dreams.

I Love LA revolves around an ambitious group of friends exploring life and love in Los Angeles. The plot follows Maia, a writer and comedian, as she navigates her twenties in Los Angeles, dealing with fractured relationships and creative burnout.

“Luck is when preparation meets opportunity”says Maia (Sennott) in the trailer. Another wise tip from Maia: “Strive until your idols become your rivals”. Self-awareness collides with denial in the lives of people who believe they are discovering the problem.

In addition to Sennott, the main cast includes Jordan Firstman (Rotting in the Sun) as Charlie, Josh Hutcherson (Five Nights at Freddy’s) like Dylan, Odessa a'zion (Until Dawn, Marty Supreme) as Tallulah, and True Whitaker (Godfather of Harlem) like Alani.

Guest stars include Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl), Moses Ingram (Lady in the Lake), Lauren Holt (Barbie), Elijah Wood (The Toxic Avenger), Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Tim Baltz, Froy Gutierrez (The Strangers: Chapter 1), y Colin Woddell (Pulse).

Sennott She is the executive producer with Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestriy Lorene Scafaria. The directors are Rachel Sennott, Lorene Scafaria, Bill Benz, and Kevin Bray.

Sennott is a young actress with one of the most interesting filmographies for an actor of her generation. He became a revelation with his leading role in the comedy Shiva Baby (2020), later was part of the horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022), I Used to Be Funny (2023), and the acclaimed youth comedy Bottoms (2023), which Sennott co-wrote, executive produced and starred in. He also co-created with Dan Levy the Netflix comedy series, Big Mistakeswhich is in production right now in New Jersey.

The first season consists of 8 episodes. The series premieres on HBO and HBO Max he Sunday, November 2, 2025. New episodes will premiere weekly until the season finale on Sunday, December 21.
