Bradley Cooper in talks to join Margot Robbie in 'Ocean's Eleven' prequel

Con Lee Isaac Chung (Twisters) secured as a director, and Margot Robbie (Barbie, Wuthering Heights) as star and producer, the studio is now in negotiations with Bradley Cooper (A Star is Born, Guardians of the Galaxy) to join Robbie as a co-star.

The media Deadline reveals that the agreement has not yet been closed, but that the close friendship of Cooper and Robbie would make the actor lean towards the project, since the actors have had the desire to collaborate in film and this seems to be the perfect opportunity. Cooper has already had meetings with Chung.

Robbie's company LuckyChap is producing the feature film.

What is known is that the most recent draft of the script was written by Carrie Solomonbased on the characters created by George Clayton Johnson and Jack Golden Russell.

Cooper is in full promotion of his most recent project, the tragicomedy Is This Thing On?which he directs and stars in. Its world premiere was held a few days ago at the New York Film Festival (NYFF).

The actor is also in pre-production on a film based on the character played by Steve McQueen in 1968, Frank Bullitt, with a home at WB, in which he will star under the direction of Steven Spielberg.

Robbie, for his part, is in theaters right now with A Big Bold Beautiful Journeyand on Valentine's Day next year we will see it in Wuthering Heights with Jacob Elordi.
