“He's about to break every rule he's ever lived by.”

Amazon MGM Studios revealed the first official trailer from the police thriller Crime 101from co-writer and director Bart Laytonstarring Chris Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder), the Oscar winner, Halle Berry (Never Let Go), Mark Ruffalo (Task), Barry Keoghan (Saltburn),

The film adapts the short story of the same name by Don Winslow. Layton co-wrote the script with Peter Straughan (Conclave).

With Los Angeles as a backdrop, Crime 101 follows the story of an elusive jewel thief (Hemsworth) who plans high-risk robberies on the iconic Highway 101. While preparing for his latest job, he crosses paths with an insurance broker (Berry), forcing them to collaborate. As a restless detective (Ruffalo) closes in on the operation and a multimillion-dollar heist draws closer, the line between hunter and prey blurs, forcing the three to confront their actions.

The project is titled Paths of crime in our region, where it will be distributed by Sony Pictures.

We will know when Crime 101 I arrived in theaters on February 12, 2026 in Mexico and February 13 in the United States.

Amazon MGM Studios distributes in the US, and Sony Pictures in the international market.
