The tragicomic thriller How to Make a Killing of A24 revealed its first official trailer.
Glen Powell (Twisters, The Running Man) stars in the feature film written and directed by John Patton Ford (Emily the Criminal).
The plot follows Becket Redfellow (Powell), the son of Mary, heiress to the vast Redfellow estate, who was disowned by the family when Becket was born. Becket will do whatever it takes to get what he deserves or what he thinks he deserves.
The official synopsis says:
“When Mary passes away, impoverished and alone, Becket decides to realize his belief that he is destined for greatness, no matter how evil he must be to achieve it. Relentlessly determined to recover what Mary always said was stolen from her, Becket hatches a murderous plan to eliminate the seven Redfellow relatives who stand between him and his inheritance. Can money buy happiness? As the heirs fall one by one, in a series of delightfully imaginative accidents, Becket is pretty sure they do. But he must also deal with his relationship with his loving girlfriend, Ruth, to whom money means nothing, and the increasing attentions of Julia, a flirtatious former flame, to whom it certainly does.
The main cast includes Powell, Margaret Qualley (The Substance), Ed Harris (Westworld), Jessica Henwick (Cuckoo), Zach Woods (The Afterparty), Topher Grace (The Waterfront), Raff Law (Masters of the Air) y Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent).
The project was financed by Studiocanal, and produced by Graham Broadbent, Peter Czernin, and Adam Friedlander.
A24 is scheduled for release in US theaters on February 20, 2026.
