The sequel Ready or Not 2: Here I Come will bring together two of the modern cinema audience's favorite Scream Queens on the big screen: Samara Weaving in her return as final girl Grace, and newcomer to the franchise, Kathryn Newton (Abigail, Freaky), playing Faith, Grace's younger sister.
The sequel to the 2019 horror hit, Ready or Nottitled in our region bloody wedding 2will follow Grace, fighting once again for her life, with the emergence of new threats, and new alliances.
It is precisely Weaving and Newton who we see in the most recent promotional image for Searchlight Pictures' slasher sequel (via USATODAY). The sisters are in life and death problems.

The plot follows Grace after the events of her unforgettable wedding night. She thinks she's safe… but the sadistic games aren't over..

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“Moments after surviving a ruthless attack by the Le Domas family, Grace (Samara Weaving) discovers she has reached the next level of the nightmarish game, and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) by her side. Grace has a chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Council Seat that controls the world. Four rival families are after her for the throne, and whoever wins will rule all.”
Filming wrapped last June, with the project in post-production right now.
The original delivery of 2019, bloody weddingrevolves around Grace (Weaving), a young woman who joins her new husband's very rich and eccentric family. During the wedding night he is asked to participate in a family tradition that quickly turns into a deadly game of kill or be killed.
It had a worldwide box office of $57 million against a budget of just $6 million.
Gillet and Bettinelli-Olpin advanced the first details about the sequel to People saying that the sequel “goes hand in hand with the first in an unexpected but fluid way. It's exciting to see Grace in a complicated new situation that deepens her story and her character, and we wanted to make sure this movie wasn't just more of the same. We put a lot of love into it to make it a worthy sequel that we hope fans of the first film, and those meeting it for the first time, will love.”
