After being out of circulation since the conclusion of its second season in February 2022, the long-awaited return of the HBO series, Euphoriait is a reality.
This morning, HBO released the first full trailer for season threewhich makes the aforementioned time jump official, and confirms its date of premiere for April 12, 2026.
The new season advances its plot five years from the end of the second season, including the returns of Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, y Maude Apatow.
When the creator series Sam Levinson returns to our screens, we will find the group of teenagers turned into young adults, with the protagonist Rue (Zendaya), south of the border with Mexico and indebted to the drug trafficker Laurie (Martha Kelly); the unhappy Cassie (Sweeney) and Nate (Elordi) engaged, living in the suburbs; Jules (Schafer) studying art; Maddie (Demie) working at a Hollywood talent agency; and Lexi (Apatow) works as an assistant to a showrunner, played by new cast member, Sharon Stone.
The trailer expands on these developments, while showing Rue narrating, “I don't know if life was exactly what I wanted, but somehow, for the first time, I was starting to have faith.” Her life changes completely when Laurie shows up and reminds her that she owes her money, and Laurie seems to be just the beginning of the danger that awaits Rue.
Rue also remembers her ex, Jules, and they meet briefly. Meanwhile, Cassie makes NSFW videos for the Internet, much to the chagrin of her fiancé Nate. Their wedding is also shown in the trailer.

New cast members for this season include Stone, Danielle Deadwyler (The Woman in the Yard), Eli Roth (The Idol), Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Sam Trammell y Thank you Black.
Eric DaneColman Domingo, Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, and Nika King are other returning cast members, while absences will be Storm Reid, Barbie FerreiraAustin Abrams, y Javon Walton.Angus Cloudwho played Fez, passed away in July 2023.
Levinson is the director and executive producer, with Zendaya serving as executive producer alongside Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Will Greenfield, Ashley Levinson, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, and Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein. Kevin Turen, another of the executive producers, died in November 2023 at the age of 44.
The long-awaited return of Euphoria It comes more than four years after the second season premiered on HBO. This unusually long hiatus was due to several factors, such as the cast's schedule alignment, and Levinson's commitments, such as his other series with HBO, The Idol.
The first two seasons of Euphoria They received a total of 25 Emmy nominations, winning 9 of them.
