Daniel Kaluuya to star in A24's sci-fi thriller 'Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel'

The Oscar-winning actor, Daniel Kaluuyais preparing for his next film project.

Kaluuya to star in sci-fi thriller Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotelfrom the study A24 and the screenwriter and director Michael Shanks (Together).

According to reports from Deadline, the actor is in negotiations to take on the lead role.

Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel follows a man who wakes up trapped in a mysterious hotel room. Alone in a hallucinatory prison, his only chance to escape is through teamwork, with himself.

Shanks, who wrote the script that appeared on the 2021 Black List, is also the producer.

Hotel Hotel Hotel Hotel It is a negative acquisition for A24, meaning that the studio bought the rights to the finished film.

The film will be produced by Mike Cowap and Emma Fitzsimmons of Princess Pictures and Adam McKay and Todd Schulman of HyperObject Industries. Princess Pictures previously produced Shanks' directorial debut, the body horror Togetherreleased in theaters in 2025, which sold to NEON at Sundance 2025 for $20 million and had a global box office of over $32 million.

Kaluuya has been part of film projects such as Sicario y Kick-Ass 2although his breakthrough role was in the horror thriller Get Out (2017) by Jordan Peele, re-collaborating with Peele on Nope (2022). Kaluuya also starred Black Panther deRyan Coogler, Widows by Steve McQueen, lends his voice to Hobie Brown in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verseand won the Oscar for best supporting actor for Judas and the Black Messiah (2021).

It has in post-production Misty Greendirected by Chris Rock, scheduled for release this year. He will later film the animated sequel Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Versey The Upper World.
