PGA Awards 2026: 'One Battle After Another' is the winner in the Producers Guild

Awards season continues this weekend with the presentation of the PGA Awards 2026delivered by Producers Union (PGA).

The 37th edition ceremony crowned One Battle After Another by Paul Thomas Anderson, as the winner of the producers' guild's highest film award, consolidating the PTA film as the favorite for the Oscar.

One battle after another was competing for the so-called Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Motion Picture Producer along with Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, Sentimental Value, Sinners, Train Dreams y Weapons.

The PGA Zanuck Award It's a key category for the Oscars.which has aligned itself with the Academy Award winner for Best Picture in 17 of the last 22 years. Last year, it coincided with the Oscars when the PGA awarded the award to Anora by Sean Baker.

In the television sector, The Pitt y Adolescence were crowned with the main prizes.

Additionally, the Producers Union honored with special recognition for their careers Jason Blum by Blumhouse (Milestone Award); the franchise producer Spider-Verse and nominated three times for an Oscar, Amy Pascal (David O. Selznick Achievement Award); and the creator and screenwriter of The Game y Girlfriendsnominated for an Emmy, Mara Brock Akil (Norman Lear Achievement Award).
