Netflix is putting a supernatural spin on the belief that weddings are a reason for happiness with the launch of first full trailer of Something Very Bad is Going to Happenwhere a couple's big day is doomed to failure.
The streamer's new miniseries, supernatural drama and horror, created by Haley Z. Bostonand executive produced by Matt Duffer y Ross Duffercreators of Stranger Thingstakes place during the week before a wedding, where superstition transforms into an instinct full of warning signs. In our region it is titled Something terrible is about to happen.
The story follows an engaged couple in the week leading up to their ill-fated wedding. Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & the Six) plays Rachel, five days away from marrying her fiancé Nicky, played by Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus), as the couple heads on a road trip to his family's vacation home, isolated in a snowy forest, for the intimate ceremony they have planned.
The miniseries presents a horror version of a woman getting married: less fairy tale, more existential trap. Rachel's fear grows as disturbing coincidences and “terrible surprises” accumulate.forcing her to wonder what makes two people soulmates and what could be scarier than giving her entire life to the wrong person.

Rachel [Morrone] He's getting married in five days. Which would be really lovely, except… prone to superstition and paranoia, Rachel can't shake the nagging feeling that something bad is going to happen. Her premonitions, along with a series of disturbing coincidences and terrible surprises, force her to ask herself: What makes two people soulmates? And worse yet, what could be more terrifying than a lifelong commitment to the wrong person?”
Weronika Tofilska (Baby Reindeer) is the lead director, and executive produces all 8 episodes.
The cast also includes Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome, Gus Birney, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ted Levine y Sawyer Fraser.
Other directors are Axelle Carolyn (The Haunting of Bly Manor) y Add Brühlmann (Killing Eve).
