IFC and Shudder have a reinterpretation of Faces of Deathwhich, like the 1978 film, wishes to create repulsion and prohibition.

The latter has come into effect from the official posters, which the companies have made deliberately grotesque to be shown in cinemas and to the general publichaving to resort to the use of blurring to hide its graphic content, accompanied by a “sensitive content” warning.

One of the posters suggests a close-up of a face covered in blood, while the other shows a figure standing over someone during a violent act, with blood visible in the scene.

Take a look at the end of the note.

The main cast includes Barbie Ferreira (Euphoria), Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things), Josie Totah (The Buccaneers), Aaron Holliday (Cocaine Bear), Charli XCXy Jermaine Fowler (Only Murders in the Building).

Faces of Death continues to explore the infamous premise of the original film: 'Is it real or not?':

A woman (Ferreira), a content moderator for a major video platform, discovers what appear to be recreations of murders from the original film. In an online world where nothing can be trusted, you must determine if the violence is fiction or if it is happening in real time.

The remake of Faces of Death is directed by Daniel Goldhaber (CAM, How to Blow Up a Pipeline), with a script co-written by Goldhaber e Isa Mazzei (CAM, How to Blow Up a Pipeline).

It's no surprise that the Motion Picture Association (MPA) has given it an R Rating for:

“Graphic and bloody violence, sexual content, nudity, explicit language and drug use.”

Do you dare? only in theaters on April 10, 2026.
