Peacock presented the official trailer for its new series, the crime drama M.I.Afrom the hand of the creator Bill Dubuque (Ozark) and the showrunner Karen Campbell (Dexter).
The plot centers on Etta Tiger Jonze (Shannon Gisela), who knows drug trafficking as a family matter. But when the family business is threatened, she finds herself thrust into a life she never imagined, forcing her to use her wits to survive as she makes her way through Miami's criminal underworld.
The trailer teases that most of Etta's family was murdered, and the young woman is determined to get revenge, even if she must find and kill a dozen men responsible for the crime, who are also looking for her.
Etta has Lovely by her side (Brittany Adebumola) y Stanley (Dylan T. Jackson), which unite Latinos and Haitians, two of the largest communities in Miami.
SYNOPSIS:
Etta Tiger Jonze seeks to avenge the murder of her family and become the most powerful crime queen in South Florida.

The first season consists of 9 episodes, each 60 minutes long.
