“Street Fighter brings arcade action to the big screen with Hadoukens, spin kicks, and all your favorite characters.”

Under that premise, Paramount Pictures visited CinemaCon 2026, to present the latest news on its highest-profile projects, including the debut of the first full trailer official live-action Street Fighterwhich follows up on the teaser released last December.

The trailer, accompanied by the '90s hit, “What's Up?” from 4 Non Blondes, promises epic showdowns between the live-action versions of the Warriors of the World. From Akuma to Dhalsim to Cammy and Vega, the cast is a mix of characters from the first two games. Street Fighter and the series Street Fighter Alpha.

From the early '90s setting to the characters' fighting styles and super attacks, it's clear that the project wants audiences to flock to movie theaters in hopes of reliving their childhood memories on home and arcade consoles.

The main cast includes Andrew Who (Black Doves, Bullet Train), Noah Centineo (Warfare, The Recruit), Callina Liang (Presence), David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil), Eric Andre (Happy Gilmore 2), Orville Peckthe fighter Cody Rhodes, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (Expend4bles), y Jason Momoa (Aquaman).

The film directed by Kitao Sakurai centers on Ryu (Koji) and Ken Masters (Centineo), who have joined the fighting tournament at the request of Chun-Li (Liang). A conspiracy hides behind the tournament and its leader, M. Bison (Dastmalchian), and the two fighters will have to unravel it while facing each other and the other contestants.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

“Set in 1993, the story follows estranged Street Fighter fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo), who are forced back into action when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the upcoming World Warrior Tournament – a brutal clash of fists, destiny and fury. But behind this pitched battle lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to confront each other and the demons of their past. And if they don't, it's game over!”

Sakurai directs the script written by Monsoon road.

The producers are Cale Boyter, Stefan Makhoul, Jason Momoa, Takayuki Nakayama, and Mary Parent, with Jay Ashenfelter, Jonathan Hook, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, Kenzo Tsujimoto as producer ejecutivos.

Street Fighter premieres in theaters on October 15 in Latin Americaand on October 16 in the United States.
