With easy preparation and amazing flavor, this bacon pâté is sure to win you over.

Ingredients

  • 120 g bacon

  • 150 g ricotta

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 dessert spoon of olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt

  • 4 garlic cloves, sliced

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Finely chop the bacon into thin slices and fry it on both sides in a skillet until lightly golden.
  • Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and transfer it to a plate lined with paper towels.
  • In the same skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil, the sliced onion, and garlic. Season with salt and sauté, stirring well.
  • Place the bacon, sautéed onion and garlic, and ricotta into a food processor and blend well. Add the yogurt and pulse briefly to combine.
  • Transfer the bacon pâté to a small container, serve as desired, and store it in the refrigerator.
