The new Peacock original miniseries, The Five-Star Weekendthe full official trailer debuted, following up on the teaser shared a few weeks ago.
The miniseries follows Jennifer Garner (The Last Thing He Told Me), playing the lead role as Hollis, who, mired in pain over the loss of her husband, embarks on a healing journey with the help of her closest friends: Dru-Ann (Regina Hall), Tatum (Chloë Sevigny), Gigi (Gemma Chan) y Brooke (D’Arcy Carden).
As the most recent trailer lets us see, during the trip, truths about the entire group of protagonists will be revealed.

According to the series synopsis, Hollis, the “celebrity cook and best-selling author,” suffers a devastating loss before she “occurs with the idea of hosting a weekend getaway at her Nantucket home with three friends from different stages of her life: her childhood, her twenties, her thirties, and a fifth surprise guest.”
“Set against a luxurious coastal backdrop, the protagonists will mature in ways they never imagined as boundaries are pushed and secrets are revealed.”
The miniseries adapts Elin Hilderbrand's 2023 novel of the same name.
The cast also includes Judy Greer (The Long Walk), Timothy Olyphant (Alien: Earth), Harlow Jane (High Desert), y Josh Hamilton (Jay Kelly).
The miniseries is created by Bekah Brunstetterand adapted by Brunstetter and Beth Schacter. Minkie Spiro y Jennifer Morrison They direct 4 episodes each.
Peacock premieres The Five Star Weekend July 9.
