This French Toast Recipe is a delight and everyone will want to repeat it!

Ingredients

  • 4 stale breads (sweet bread, French bread or baguette)

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence

  • 1/2 cup (tea) milk

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of condensed milk

  • Cinnamon powder to taste

  • Sugar to taste

Directions

  • Cut the buns into medium slices and set aside. 
    In a bowl add the eggs, beat them well and set aside. 
    Place the milk, condensed milk, vanilla essence on a plate and mix until homogenized.
  • First pass the slices of bread in the mixture of milk with condensed milk and vanilla essence. 
    Then pass the beaten egg slice by slice and place it side-by-side on a platter or roast, repeating the process until the breads run out.
  • Fry the slices of bread in a pan or skillet with preheated oil, until they start to brown. 
    Remove them with a spatula and transfer slice by slice to a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Finish by passing the french toast slices on a plate with powdered sugar and cinnamon to taste and the snack is ready to be served.
