Ingredients
4 stale breads (sweet bread, French bread or baguette)
2 whole eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
1/2 cup (tea) milk
1/2 cup (tea) of condensed milk
Cinnamon powder to taste
Sugar to taste
Directions
- Cut the buns into medium slices and set aside.Â
In a bowl add the eggs, beat them well and set aside.Â
Place the milk, condensed milk, vanilla essence on a plate and mix until homogenized. - First pass the slices of bread in the mixture of milk with condensed milk and vanilla essence.Â
Then pass the beaten egg slice by slice and place it side-by-side on a platter or roast, repeating the process until the breads run out.
- Fry the slices of bread in a pan or skillet with preheated oil, until they start to brown.Â
Remove them with a spatula and transfer slice by slice to a plate lined with paper towels. - Finish by passing the french toast slices on a plate with powdered sugar and cinnamon to taste and the snack is ready to be served.
