Posters for 'Onslaught' by Adam Wingard and A24

After trying his luck with Hollywood IP's, Adam Wingard returns to independent cinema this year, with the original horror and action thriller Onslaughtstarring Adria Arjona (Andor, Blink Twice, Hit Man) as a woman with skills as a ruthless military sniper.

The plot follows a mother living in a trailer park, who uses her skills to protect her loved ones from a threat that escaped from a secret military base, while mercenaries try to contain her.

The study A24 A couple of official posters debuted focused on Arjona, and another on the mercenaries. Take a look at the end of the note.

Wingard directs from the script co-written by Wingard and his frequent collaborator, Simon Barrett (The Guest, You’re Next, Godzilla x Kong).

Arjona is accompanied by a cast that includes Dan Stevens (The Guest, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire), Rebecca Hall (The Night House, Godzilla vs Kong, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire), kickboxer and MMA artist, Alex Pereira, Michael Biehn (Terminator), Drew Starkey (Outer Banks, Queer), Jacob Scipio (Passengers, Bad Boys: Ride or Die), Eric Wareheim (Master of None) y Reginald VelJohnson (franchise Die Hard).

At the moment there are few details about the project. Another official description explains:

“When a rebel squad of genetically modified super soldiers is unleashed in the desert, a fearless army sniper must unleash hell to protect her young daughter.”

The film's producers include Adam Wingard, Simon Barrett, Alexander Black, Jeremy Platt, Aaron Ryder, and Andrew Swett. Executive producers are David Kern, Todd Lundbohm, Stuart Manashil, Jon Rosenberg, and Natalie Sellers.

The director of photography is Oren Soffer, with Matthew Pusti as composer of the soundtrack.

After starting in the industry with independent film projects such as You’re Nexty The GuestWingard tried his luck with Hollywood IP's with the sequel Blair Witch, Death Note, Godzilla vs Kongy Godzilla x Kong: The New Empireand now, he returns to the indie scene with Onslaught.
