adieu «blue hour» – now I almost forgot to introduce you to my pop hit of the year. It comes from the Japanese Kamishiraishi Moka, better known as adieu, who has been regularly releasing beautiful, slightly melancholic but always melodic J-Pop since 2017 and released her 5th album this year. The catchy single “blue hour” comes from this – a song that should actually be easy to digest for Western listeners.
The Linda Lindas «Everybody told me» – This rather punky quartet comes from LA, but on their new album “GOTTA GET OU” they have toned down the guitars a bit and formulated the songs a little more strongly. For example, wonderful tracks like this single have come out.
