For your strawberry cake to be perfect, use the ingredients from the list below and follow the instructions in the preparation method.

Ingredients

  • Pasta
  • 240 ml whole milk (1 cup)

  • 3 eggs

  • 80 ml oil (1/3 cup)

  • 240 g of Sugar (1 and 1/3 cup)

  • 5 ml vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)

  • 240 g all-purpose flour (2 cups)

  • 15 g of chemical yeast (1 tablespoon)

  • Filling
  • 300g sour cream (1 bottle)

  • 240 ml whole milk (1 cup)

  • 390 g condensed milk (1 can)

  • 2 gems

  • 37 g cornstarch (1/4 cup)

  • 5 ml vanilla essence (1 teaspoon)

  • 375g chopped strawberries (1 and ½ box)

  • 300g sour cream (1 bottle)

  • 30g sugar (2 tablespoons)

  • 125g chopped strawberries (1/2 box)

Directions

  • Pasta
  • In a mixer, add the eggs and sugar. 
    Whisk well until foamy;
  • Add the oil little by little, while beating;
  • Add the milk gradually, while beating;
  • Add the vanilla essence little by little, while beating;
  • Turn off the mixer;
  • Add the sifted wheat flour while mixing;
  • Add the chemical yeast;
  • Mix well and transfer to a greased and floured shape;
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approximately 40 minutes;
  • Filling
  • Sift the yolks into a pan off the heat;
  • Add the corn starch;
  • Add some condensed milk and mix well;
  • Add the rest of the condensed milk;
  • Add the milk;
  • Add the cream;
  • Mix well and lead to the fire, always mixing;
  • Let it cook for 3 minutes when it starts to boil;
  • Turn off the fire;
  • Add vanilla essence;
  • Mix and transfer to a refractory;
  • Spread and cover with plastic film in contact;
  • Put it in the fridge;
  • Mix the cream and add it to the bottom of a refractory;
  • Add the strawberry pieces and mix;
  • Add half of the dough on top;
  • Add the cream on top and spread;
  • Add the other part of the dough;
  • Put the cake in the fridge;

  • In a mixer, beat the cream;
  • When it starts to foam, add the sugar;
  • Beat until firm waves form;
  • Place the whipped cream on top of the dough;
  • Add strawberries;
