Ingredients
3 to 4 tilapia fillets
3 cloves of garlic
2 lemons
1 cup (tea) cornmeal
1 cup (tea) wheat flour
1 tablespoon of corn starch
1 teaspoon of salt
Black pepper to taste
Directions
- Place the tilapia fillets in a bowl and season with salt, pepper to taste, crushed garlic and lemon juice.Â
Mix well to spread the seasoning on the fish and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
- Add the wheat flour, cornmeal, cornstarch and a pinch of salt in a separate container.Â
Mix well and coat the fillets completely on both sides. - Place the breaded fillets in a pan with hot oil until covered and fry until the fish is lightly golden.Â
Remove the fried fish fillets from the oil with a slotted spoon, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels and the recipe is ready to serve.
