Fried fish is a recipe to make any seafood lover crazy to try!

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 tilapia fillets

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 2 lemons

  • 1 cup (tea) cornmeal

  • 1 cup (tea) wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon of corn starch

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • Black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Place the tilapia fillets in a bowl and season with salt, pepper to taste, crushed garlic and lemon juice. 
    Mix well to spread the seasoning on the fish and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Add the wheat flour, cornmeal, cornstarch and a pinch of salt in a separate container. 
    Mix well and coat the fillets completely on both sides.
  • Place the breaded fillets in a pan with hot oil until covered and fry until the fish is lightly golden. 
    Remove the fried fish fillets from the oil with a slotted spoon, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels and the recipe is ready to serve.
