Ingredients
500g diced chicken breast
200g sliced ​​fresh mushrooms (optional)
1 chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
3 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of milk cream
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley to garnish
Directions
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil and half the butter over medium heat.Â
Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until golden. - Add chicken to pan and sauté until cooked through and browned on all sides.
- If using mushrooms, add them to the pan and sauté for a few more minutes until they are soft.
- Add the ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce to the pan, mixing well so that the chicken and mushrooms are coated in the sauce.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the cream, stirring gently to incorporate the rest of the ingredients.
- Cook for another 5 minutes, until the sauce is hot and slightly thick.Â
Season with salt and pepper to taste. - Add the rest of the butter and stir until it melts and blends into the sauce.
- Remove the pan from the heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
