1 can of green corn (without the water)
1/2 cup of oil
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
A bit of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a blender, beat the green corn, oil, eggs and sugar until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- In a bowl, mix the cornmeal, wheat flour, baking powder and salt.
- Pour the blender mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until a uniform dough forms.
- Grease a mold with margarine and flour.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden and firm to the touch.
