2 cups of wheat flour
3 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.Â
Grease and flour a cake pan. - In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar and baking powder.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs lightly.Â
Add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla essence.Â
Mix well. - Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until you obtain a homogeneous dough.Â
Do not stir too much, just enough to incorporate the ingredients. - Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, you can decorate the cake with powdered sugar, chocolate frosting, or icing if desired.
