To make your natural yogurt cake, use the ingredients below and follow the preparation instructions.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of natural yogurt

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 cups of sugar

  • 3 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. 
    Grease a cake pan with butter and sprinkle with flour.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs until well blended.
  • Add yogurt, vegetable oil and sugar to the bowl. 
    Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into the bowl with the liquid ingredients. 
    Mix until a smooth dough forms.
  • If desired, add vanilla essence and mix again.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top if desired.
