1 large Italian bread (baguette)
1/2 cup (120g) softened butter
4 cloves of garlic, chopped
1/4 cup (15g) chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
Ground black pepper to taste
Grated parmesan cheese to taste (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.Â
Meanwhile, cut the Italian bread into slices, but without separating completely, forming a grid.Â
This will make it easier to apply the seasoning. - In a bowl, mix the softened butter, chopped garlic, parsley, salt and black pepper.Â
If desired, add grated Parmesan cheese for an extra touch of flavor. - Using a knife or brush, generously spread the garlic seasoning between the slices of bread, ensuring that the seasoning penetrates well.
- Wrap the bread in aluminum foil, leaving the top open so the heat can penetrate.Â
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is hot and the butter has melted. - If desired, open the foil on top of the bread and let it brown for another 5 minutes, so that the surface becomes crispy.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.Â
