Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a cake pan with butter and flour.
  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
  • Add eggs, sugar, vegetable oil and vanilla essence to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, sift the wheat flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon powder.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour dough into prepared form.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Cut into pieces and enjoy!
