Netflix's original rom-com series, Emily in Pariscreated by Darren Star (Sex and the City, Younger), and starring and produced by Lily Collinsannounced that The fourth season will be released and divided into two parts that will debut on the streamer on the following dates:
- Part 1: August 15, 2024
- Part 2: September 12, 2024
The news was revealed in a promotional video published by Netflix on social networks, with a look at several members of the cast, including the protagonist, Collins.
Season 3 of Emily in Paris ended on a cliffhanger, with Camille's surprise wedding (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) taking a turn when Camille told Gabriel that she couldn't marry him because he and Emily were clearly in love and then revealed to him that she was pregnant.
Season four finds Emily reeling after those dramatic events:
“Emily has strong feelings for two men, but Gabriel is about to become a father, and her ex-boyfriend Alfie's worst fears (Lucien Laviscount) about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. Unfortunately, the chemistry between Emily and Gabriel is undeniable as they work together for a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they have dreamed of. Meanwhile, at work, Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage while the Agence Grateau team faces personnel changes. And Mindy (Ashley Park) and the band are forced to save when they run out of funds preparing for Eurovision.”
Portions of filming for the fourth season took place in Rome, Italy.
Darren Star joined in saying:
“Emily finds herself on a busy travel schedule in Season 4 of Emily in Paris. From the French Alps to the squares of Rome, viewers will vicariously experience incredible new places through Emily's eyes. Expect new characters, lots more drama, romance, and a whole new language to try to master.”
