Amazon has given the green light to the development of a series about Robocop.

Peter Daddy He signed on as screenwriter, showrunner and executive producer. Besides, James Wan he joined as executive producer through his production company Atomic Monster (via Variety).

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

“A giant tech conglomerate is collaborating with a local police department to introduce a technologically advanced agent to combat rising crime: a police officer who is half-man, half-machine.”

Atomic Monster's Michael Clear and Rob Hackett are also executive producers. The television project will be supervised by Danielle Bozzone of the same company, and produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
