Apple TV+ is celebrating the arrival of the new year with the entire audience, inviting them to enjoy their entire catalog for free.
The streamer announced that during the weekend of January 4 and 5, 2025, Access to all its original movie and series content will be available at no cost.
The news was announced with a video published on X/Twitter.
The promotion comes at a time when the tech giant is already offering three free months on the streaming service when purchased with an Apple device and redeemed within 90 days. Apple TV+ also offers a 7-day trial on a standalone subscription.
What can you find on Apple TV+?
The streamer launched in November 2019, and since then it has built a thoughtful, varied, and quality-filled catalog.
You can watch acclaimed series like The Morning Show, Severance, Ted Lasso, Shrinking, Slow Horses, Silo, Bad Sisters, Loot, Black Bird, Palm Royale, Presumed Innocent, Disclaimerand many others.
And movies like Blitz, Fly Me to the Moon, The Instigators, Wolfs, Greyhound, The Family Plan, Killers of the Flower Moon, Napoleon, Coda, The Bankerand more.
Since 2019, its original films, series and documentaries have accumulated 535 wins and 2,450 nominations, including winning the Oscar for best film for Coda.
In August 2023, Apple revealed that its Services segment had surpassed 1 billion paid subscribers, although it did not break down how many were attributed to Apple TV+. In addition to Apple TV+, the division includes Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple News+, Apple Music and iCloud.
Apple has not released viewership figures for its streaming programming, although some of its original content has appeared on Nielsen streaming charts.
