The action thriller Hostageof the director Luca Elmihe already found his female protagonist.
According to Deadline reports, Arienne Mandi He was signed to assume the female leading role in the project that he previously announced as male protagonists to William Moseley (saga The Chronicles of Narnia) y Mark Valley (Harry’s Law).
The main photography will be completed this week in Kentucky.
The plot follows Logan Marshall (Moseley), a charismatic politician, on his way to the Government. The story takes an unexpected turn when being wrapped in a high -risk situation with hostages that forces him to confront his past and threatens to derail his way to power.
The character of Mandi, Angela Robinson, collaborates closely with Logan and with the character of Valley, Jon Lewis, the relentless campaign chief of Logan. Angela is an emerging star in the Logan Marshall campaign team.
The script was written by Drew Ingramfrom a story of Ingram, Elmi and Luca Menasci.
Some of Mandi's credits include leading role in the series The L Word: Generation Q of Showtime for 3 seasons, and right now in regular role in the second season of The Night Agent of Netflix.
