
This year, James Cameron will take us back to the world of Avatarwith the premiere in cinemas of the third installment, Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Previously it was announced that in the new sequel, Cameron will present a more antagonistic race of Na'vi. This new group is about Mangkwan Clan, also known as Ash People or ash clandescribed as a “Aggressive volcanic race” of Na'vi, led by Varang, played by Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones).
Avatar: Fire and Ash will then take Jake's family (Sam Worthington) Nitor of Y (Zoe Saldaña) to unknown territory, to know this new generation of Na'vi, where things could not go as well as Metkayina in Avatar: The Way of Water.
In a new look at Fire and Ashwe obtain the first image to the Villa of the Clan of the ash, and as we can see in the image at the end of the note, it presents a total contrast to the colors and life of Pandora, where everything is brilliant, with light, and bright colors. On the other hand, in the Villa of the ash clan everything is gray and desolate.
The production designer, Dylan Cole, explains to Empire:
“[Los Mangkwan] They suffered a natural disaster and that somehow helped shape their culture. Much of the world of Pandora is rich, vibrant and full of life; This is exactly the opposite. They used to live not very different from the omatikaya of Avatar 1. ”
Previously Cameron said that Varang (Chaplin) as leader of a town that has gone through incredible adversity, hardened. “She will do anything for them.”
Avatar: Fire and Ash It opens in cinemas around the world on December 19, 2025.
