The summer of 2023 belonged to Barbie. The whole world was painted pink, and the phenomenon Barbie took over movie theaters in every corner.

Accepting Time magazine's Women of the Year award in March of this year, Gerwig said:
“My north star is: what do I love deeply? What do I really care about? What is the story behind this story? If I find the hangover, then we'll get it. If I don’t find a hangover, there won’t be any more.”

This project will premiere in 2025 on the streamer.
