Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup of sugar
2 cups of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder (optional)
A bit of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
- Peel the ripe bananas and place them in a blender.
- Add the eggs, vegetable oil, sugar, wheat flour, ground cinnamon (if using) and a pinch of salt to the blender.
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until you obtain a homogeneous mass.
- Add the baking powder to the dough and mix quickly with a spoon or by pulsing the blender a few times to incorporate the yeast.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for around 30-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
- Serve the banana cake in slices and enjoy!
