Ingredients
2 stale breads
2 whole eggs
500 ml of milk
3/4 cup (tea) sugar
10 drops vanilla extract (optional)
1/2 cup (tea) of sugar
Directions
- Chop the buns and place in a bowl.Â
Add the milk and set aside to hydrate. - Melt 1/2 cup of sugar until caramelized in a pan and transfer to the pudding mold, or melt in the mold itself, and set aside.
- In the blender place the eggs, 3/4 cup of sugar, the vanilla essence and the moistened bread.
- Cover the blender and blend the ingredients well.Â
Then pour the dough into the form of caramelized pudding. - Completely wrap the pudding in aluminum foil with the shiny side facing down and place in a larger mold filled halfway with water.
- Cook the pudding on the stove for approximately 40 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when skewered.
- Leave the dessert in the fridge for at least 2 hours, turn it out onto a platter or plate and the bread pudding is ready.
