2 large onions
1 cup of wheat flour
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

Directions
- Peel the onions and cut them into slices, keeping the rings intact.
- In a bowl, season the onion slices with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Breading: In a shallow bowl, add the wheat flour.Â
In another shallow bowl, lightly beat the eggs.Â
In a third shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs. - Dip each onion ring in the wheat flour, then in the beaten eggs and, finally, in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat each ring well.
- In a pan, heat enough oil to cover the onions over medium heat.
- When the oil is hot, fry the breaded onions until they are golden and crispy.Â
This usually takes about 2-3 minutes per side. - Remove the breaded onions and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve the breaded onions hot, accompanied by a sauce of your choice, such as seasoned mayonnaise, ketchup or barbecue sauce.
