'Carolina Caroline' Promo: Samara Weaving and Kyle Gallner prepare their first heist

Magnolia Pictures The romance and crime thriller opens in theaters in the United States today Carolina Carolinestarring Samara Weaving (Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come) y Kyle Gallner (Smile 2), two favorites of the horror audience due to the large number of genre projects in which they have appeared.

Weaving and Gallner are accompanied by a cast that includes Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) y Jon Gries (The White Lotus).

The road movie tells the story of a young woman (Weaving) who leaves her small town in search of her estranged mother (Sedgwick), along with a charismatic conman (Gallner) who is on the run from the law. The duo leave behind a wave of crime and passion as they race through the Southeast.

The study share a latest promoin which we see Weaving and Gallner's characters prepare for what will be their first heist.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:

“Samara Weaving stars as Caroline Daniels, whose desire to leave her small Texas town leads her to meet a charismatic conman (Gallner), and together they embark on an adventure of crime and passion across the southeastern United States. Also starring Kyra Sedgwick, the film features a diverse country music soundtrack, with songs by artists such as Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Loretta Lynn and more than a dozen others.”

Adam Carter Rehmeier (Dinner In America) directs with a script Tom Dean.

Filming took place in Kentucky in 2024. In September 2025 it celebrated its world premiere at TIFF 2025.

Stephen Braun, Tim and Trevor White, Eric B. Fleischman and Chris Abernathy are producers, with Jan McAdoo, Brittany Kahan Ward and Trent Hubbard serving as executive producers.

As a curious fact we share with you that Weaving and Gallner are part of the slasher franchise Scream; Gallner appeared in Scream 5 and Weaving in Scream VI; The film marks a new collaboration between the director and Gallner, an actor who starred in Dinner In America (2021) by Rehmeier. Braun and Fleischman produced the film.

By the way, this is one of three 2026 film projects starring Weaving, the other two being Ready or Not 2: Here I Comey Over Your Dead Bodyreleased in theaters in March and April, respectively.

Carolina Caroline already in American cinemas. Date to be confirmed in theaters in Mexico and the rest of Latin America.
